Khaled shared a congratulatory text message from Wale this week and revealed his prediction of the new chart-topping Major Key album reaching a huge milestone.
Last Sunday (August 7), Khaled went to Instagram and shared his reaction to Major Key debuting at number one.
Weekend reports revealed Khaled would edge rapper Drake’s Views album on the sales charts.
After 12 non-consecutive weeks at #1, DrakeÔÇÖs Views (YMCMB/Republic) has been dethroned by DJ KhaledÔÇÖs Major Key (We The Best/Epic). Khaled lands at #1 on HITSÔÇÖ Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart with 96k, while Drake slides gracefully to #2 with nearly 80k. Khaled also stands as the top dog on the Album Sales Chart, as Major Key scores about 60k in album sales alone after a week-long Apple Music exclusivity period. (HITS Daily Double)
