Award-winning singer Sia is flexing her Top Dawg muscle this week. The crooner has linked up with rapper Kendrick Lamar for their new “The Greatest” single.
The music duo’s unexpected audio banger emerged Tuesday (September 6) on streaming site Spotify.
Sia teamed up with Kendrick Lamar for her cathartic new single, “The Greatest,” which also has a dance sequence featuring the pop star’s video muse, Maddie Ziegler. While the video does not feature Lamar’s verse, that version of the song can be streamed via Spotify. (Rolling Stone)
Sia complemented the new single with a Lamar-less music video.
In another dance-heavy clip, the song’s video features Ziegler leading a troupe of fellow children and adults in a joyous routine inside a dilapidated apartment buildings, moving from one room to another, with the usual compliment of expressive hand and facial gestures: Lamar does not appear in the clip. Back in mid-July, the singer publicly asked rap star Drake to reach out to her.
