Yung Juko’s┬ástory practically writes itself. His now manager was hounded to listen to┬á“Trust Nobody”┬áfor 6 months before he relented. He was instantly hooked. This 21 year old singer/songwriter from Lafaytette, LA can sing. He decided to back him. Trouble was, they were met not only with a great deal of resistance in the beginning, but absolute ridicule.

You see, Juko was diagnosed was Spina Bifida as an infant; a spinal deformity that causes a curvature of the spine and affects both one’s height and gait. People asked Brandon, “Why are you wasting all this money on a little cripple kid? He ain’t about to do nothing.“

Well, the video for┬á“Trust Nobody”┬ájust went over┬á800,000 views┬áon YouTube in just 3 short months with over┬á13K likes. It also hit┬á#1 on Billboard’s Hip Hop / R&B┬áchart and┬á#2 on their Hot Singles Sales┬áchart. The best part of it is,┬á“Trust Nobody”┬áis the first song Yung Juko ever recorded and he bought the beat from some random producer in Shreveport, who was selling beats online for $25. I couldn’t make this shit up.

Here is Juko’s second video,┬á“Learn From The Streets.”┬á
