Late music icon Tupac Shakur‘s lyrics are up for grabs. Fans eager to get their hands on Pac’s handwritten can for nearly $40,000.
According to reports, a memorabilia company is selling Makaveli’s lyric sheets to interested buyers.
The original lyric sheet to “Catchin’ Feelings” — from 2002’s Better Dayz album — is up for grabs, courtesy of the memorabilia company Moments in Time. Retail price … $38,500. Gary Zimet, who owns MiT, tells us he obtained the lyrics from an ex-employee of the studio where Tupac recorded the track in ’96 … and, wisely, he’s been holding onto the framed piece until this month. Back in June, rap star French Montana credited Pac’s All Eyez On Me for impacting his life.
Earlier this year, Hollywood actress Jada Pinkett Smith reflected on Pac’s mother Afeni Shakur passing away last May.
Music stars Game, iLoveMakonnen and Uncle Luke paid homage to Afeni on social media.
