We The Best CEO DJ Khaled has reacted to making history with his new Major Key album toppling the sales chart and taking down pal Drake’s Views.
Khaled went to Instagram last night (August 7) and shared his reactions.
Weekend reports revealed Khaled would edge Drake on the sales charts.
After 12 non-consecutive weeks at #1, DrakeÔÇÖs Views (YMCMB/Republic) has been dethroned by DJ KhaledÔÇÖs Major Key (We The Best/Epic). Khaled lands at #1 on HITSÔÇÖ Sales Plus Streaming (SPS) Chart with 96k, while Drake slides gracefully to #2 with nearly 80k. Khaled also stands as the top dog on the Album Sales Chart, as Major Key scores about 60k in album sales alone after a week-long Apple Music exclusivity period. (HITS Daily Double)
