DJ Quik Threatens YG: ÔÇ£You DonÔÇÖt F*CK W/ DJ QuikÔÇØ

West Coast rap veteran DJ Quik has stepped forward to single out fellow hip-hop artist YG over not being properly credited for work on his 2014 My Krazy Life album.

Quik went to Twitter Monday (August 8) and sent public shots at the California native.

According to reports, Quik previously hinted at a lawsuit brewing against a Compton rapper.

Quik hinted at this feud back in June in a now-deleted tweet. “Guess what Compton rapper I’m about to sue?” he asked. “You’ll see.” “My N*gga” came out back in 2013, so it’s not exactly clear why Quik is only bringing this to light now. So far, YG has been silent on Quik’s allegations and hasn’t responded to his tweets. (Complex)

A few months ago, the West Coast native explained why he called out Kanye West‘s The Life Of Pablo‘s album quality.

“I wouldn’t say this is a lack of talent. This is just a challenge. This is the music business. We love good music and just lately, you know, his music hasnÔÇÖt been lighting my fire. And IÔÇÖm a fan. … I expected something better.” (TMZ Live)

In April, Quik raised eyebrows after singling out the album in an interview.

“Who puts our records anymore? Kanye’s so scared he don’t know what to do with the f*cking Life Of Pablo. Let’s just keep this sh*t all the way f*cking 100 – is it better than 808s & Heartbreak? Is it better than the experimental – Yeezus? Well, do you think it deserves all the hype though?
