One might think that after dominating hip-hop with Views Drake would take the rest of 2016 off musically. What’s left to prove? Just like anything that Drake does, he wants to be the best and remain at the top, so he’s not allowing anybody to claim that spot. During his Summer Sixteen tour in Kansas City last night, he announced a new mixtape is on the way.
We’ve been hearing rumors for weeks that Drake and Gucci Mane will be working on an EP that’s pretty much confirmed by Zaytoven. However, his announcement at the concert sounds like a separate project. Knowing how he’s operated in the last two years, it seems likely we’ll get this through Apple Music when it does drop.
Maybe we’ll actually see a Joe Budden response on it too. Check out the video announcement below.
