As part of our 30 Years of Volks celebrations, we welcome Brooklyn hip-hop legend Afu-Ra to the Volks stage for a very special headline show.

A key figure from New York’s underground hip-hop scene and a longtime member of the Gang Starr Foundation, Afu-Ra is known for his razor-sharp flow, martial-arts-inspired lyricism and collaborations with some of hip-hop’s most respected names.

His classic debut album Body of the Life Force featured production and appearances from DJ Premier, GZA, Masta Killa, M.O.P., Ky-Mani Marley and more, cementing his place in underground hip-hop history.

Expect an intimate night of beats, bars & breaks, with Afu-Ra performing classics from across his catalogue up close and personal at Volks.
