There are a countless amount of issues facing Americans and the cause or fix to damn near every one of them ultimately boils down by money. Yet, despite all the problems currency causes our country, we’re still the most materialistic society in the world. When it comes to having the newest tech or rocking the hottest brands, our debts don’t matter. We can’t help ourselves and in turn, we ultimately see red. Green is our true government and if you don’t realize that, you’re probably a walking billboard for twenty companies.

Jay IDK is well aware of our reliance on revenue, as “I Picture” is a menacing reminder how our country really has no idea what true worth is at all. By rapping from the POV of someone who flosses like a dentist, but has honest self-awareness, the Maryland MC explains all the different ways people with money play the system and those around them, without regard for anyone else – while many still look up to them as idols.

IDK’s message is well delivered via his first-hand POV approach, which allows him to drive home points people who actually have the money and power would never admit to. Without sounding too extra, this type of impactful realization is the only way America will ever come out from under the thumb of a corporate-funded system.

Slowly but surely, Jay’s Empty Bank is becoming one of the more anticipated projects this summer. Pre-order on iTunes, before it drops August 26.
