With a cryptic tweet early on Wednesday afternoon, Wale got his Chicago fans buzzing about a secret concert to take place later on that night. As details began to trickle out we learn that the DMV rapper is teaming with ride-sharing app Uber to give an undisclosed number of Wale’s fans a free ride to tonight’s private concert at a still secret location. Uber released logistical information via their Newsroom page yesterday. The rules are pretty simple. If you’re in Chicago, located in the area indicated below, and are lucky enough to get through, one of Uber drivers will take to see Wale perform for free.
All you have to do enter the promo code PLAYWALE, open the app at 8:30 p.m. and request a secret show. In the meantime, check out Wale’s new video for his summer banger “My PYT,” and happy hunting for those hoping to get to the concert tonight.
