Those who heard Vic Mensa’s recent project There’s A Lot Going On┬áaren’t going to be surprised in the least by the Chicago rapper’s fiery reaction, after being accused of stealing by police while┬áleaving Barneys New York.

In a recent clip obtained by HotInHipHop, the SAVEMONEY member can seen standing alongside police and saying, “IÔÇÖm tired of dealing with these motherf**kers man,”┬ádirecting his ire towards officers who seemingly have no clue what’s going on. “Over here just giving a aggin┬átrouble for all types of stupid s**t. We didnÔÇÖt steal s**t. I go in Barneys and spend four racks and get accused of stealing.ÔÇØ

To make matters worse, it seems the police didn’t even have rationale for the brief detainment.┬áÔÇ£The craziest part about it, I went and bought some ill Saint Laurent boots, some more s*it from Barneys, and we get all pulled out the f**king car and get accused of stealing. And on top of that, they donÔÇÖt even know what they think we stole.ÔÇØ

Harassment like this only adds further fuel to the fire that’s burning in Mensa’s soul lately, as he’s been more outspoken about injustice and inequality┬áin his music than ever before.┬áÔÇ£You canÔÇÖt be a young Black man out here doing anything legal, positive, and you still get treated like a criminal,ÔÇØ he said. ÔÇ£We donÔÇÖt have to steal s**t man, we could buy nicer s**t than you buy for your wife right now.ÔÇØ
