Art, Beats + Lyrics Event in NYC Was Extraordinarily Dope

We had the pleasure of covering the Art, Beats and Lyrics event at Terminal 5 located in NYC this past Saturday [Oct. 29th]. It was an amazing experience to see art pieces that were relevant to the Hip Hop culture and to hear music from the late 80’s, 90’s, and the early 2000’s spinning by the dopest DJ’s.

D.R.E.S. Tha Beatnik, who is best known for being a human beatbox, was the Emcee for the night. He hyped up the crowd and rapped along to the past hottest tracks in Hip Hop.

The DJ’s and D.R.E.S. made everyone want to dance on the dance floor as they enjoyed their complimentary Jack Daniels beverages. There were good vibes, great energy, and a night we won’t forget.

“Art, Beats and Lyrics, the national art and music tour presented by Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and Cult Creative, is back for the 12th year, and will visit more cities than ever. Launched by Cult Creative in 2004 as a local art show in Atlanta, Art, Beats and Lyrics combines an affinity for urban art and hip-hop culture. Now one of the largest traveling lifestyle experiences of its kind, the tour was created to provide a platform for upcoming visual artists and hip-hop acts to gain exposure and reach.”
