Azealia Banks Twitter Fingers, E-Beef Days Gone For Good: ÔÇ£IÔÇÖm QuittingÔÇØ

New York rapper Azealia Banks has announced her departure from social media despite building a reputation for engaging in e-beefs over the past few years.

Banks went to Facebook Monday (August 1) and broke the news.

Last month, Banks came forward to speak out on lightening her skin.

“You guys really want to talk to me about this skin whitening thing and skin bleaching thing and why I did it and what does it mean, blah, blah, blah. I don’t really think it’s important to discuss the cultural significance of skin bleaching anymore because I think that just as African American people or Black people in this world, you assimilate. There are things that you accept not out of necessity, but things that kinda become the norm because it’s just happening all of the time. I think that also goes for Black people or any minority.”

In mid-June, Banks went to Instagram and addressed backlash she received for bleaching her skin.

According to reports, Banks used color-altering company Whitenicious for the complexion change.

Whitenicious spokeswoman Rebecca Matamba told BOSSIP that Banks is just one of the companys celebrity clientele. She loves Whitenicious and has tweeted about it multiple timesShe is one of our many celebrity clients but she is just one of the celebrities who uses it and doesnt care who knows, Matamba said.
