Faith Evans Teases Notorious Joint Album W/ B.I.G. Puzzle

Bad Boy Records’ alumni Faith Evans has reminded fans a long-awaited collaborative album with late ex-husband Notorious B.I.G. is still in the works.

Faith went to Twitter Saturday (July 16) and assured fans their The King And I would arrive in the near future.

In April, reality TV star and producer Stevie J dished on creating new music alongside Faith.

The first order of business for the Biggie Humagram is a music video appearance for the first single off Faith Evans’ duets compilation titled The King & I. Last month, the Brooklyn MC’s former wife revealed on Dame Dash’s radio show that a potential hologram tour was in the works, which Bharti confirms. “What weÔÇÖre gonna start with is a video with the first single from The King & I then I think Faith wants to do a little tour,” he says. ARHT Media founder Rene Bhari recently announced plans for a B.I.G. hologram to show up in an upcoming Evans music video.

In March, Evans talked about putting together their The King And I joint album and possibly performing alongside a Biggie hologram.

“Right now I’m actually recording this project, a duet project with me and Big, called The King And I. It’s something I’ve been thinking and doing for a while with [Big’s mom] Ms. Wallace – I’m in the finishing stages. I had no idea how I was going to even go about it but it’s been coming along pretty awesome. … If he were alive, we would have done something like this. … We’re actually in development with a hologram [company] but I don’t necessarily know to what extent I’m going to perform with it but I definitely want to debut it probably with the first video from the album and use it a little bit performance-wise and that depends on a lot of things. It’s expensive. … If this Bad Boy tour ever really happens, it might be something that really happens.”
