R&B singer Ciara reportedly wants ex-fianc├® Future to cough up $500,000 for damaging her image and causing potential business ventures to crumble.
According to reports, CiCi is ready to take legal action against the Atlanta native for past public comments he made about her.
Ciara says her baby daddy’s barrage of tweets and interviews disparaging her scared away an international cosmetics company she thinks would have paid her $500k … this according to new legal docs obtained by TMZ. You’ll recall … Ciara slapped Future with a defamation lawsuit back in February after he blasted her on social media with tweets like, “This bitch got control problems … I gotta go through lawyers to see baby future … the f***ery for 15k a month.” (TMZ)
Future recently hopped on Instagram and acknowledged his career success.
According to reports, Ciara recently filed documents and said she believed Future wanted to hurt her now-husband Russell Wilson.
In particular, she notes the football emojis with guns pointing in their direction … which Future posted a while back. She also makes mention of the song he dropped last month, in which he says, “Tryna f*** my baby mama, dog what’s up with you? You gon’ make me get that heat, I’m pulling up on you.” The singer calls Future’s conduct, “frightening” and “socially irresponsible … where there has been a recent rash of gun violence.” (TMZ)
In a recent Rolling Stone cover feature, Future explained the immediate aftermath of his 2014 split from CiCi.
“I was one step away from being married, and I feel like I failed publicly in relationships. Then you want to go back to doing music, to what you know. And if the people didn’t accept you again, the one thing you feel like you can fall back on, it walked away from you. You feel like it’s over,” Future said. “I’m attached to you [, Ciara]. If you’re happy, I’m happy. You’re connected for life. I don’t want you to go through this sh*t and for it to come back on my son, my kid. I want you to be in the best situation.” (Rolling Stone)
