Slaughterhouse’s KXNG Crooked has stood up to speak out on the now-viral shooting of unarmed black man Charles Kinsey by law enforcement this week.

Crooked went to Twitter Thursday (July 21) and bashed police for unloading fire on Kinsey.

The controversial Kinsey shooting footage surfaced online yesterday (July 20).

An unarmed black man was shot by North Miami, Florida, police while he was trying to calm his autistic patient ÔÇö and while his hands were up. Charles Kinsey, 47, a behavioral therapist, went out to retrieve a patient who had wandered outside with a toy truck. The mentally disabled man was sitting on the middle of the road blocking traffic and as Kinsey went to get him, he was struck in the leg with a bullet. (Carbonated TV)

Kinsey’s attorney has since addressed the now-viral matter.

“My client asked the police, ‘Why did he shoot me?’ And the officer said, ‘I don’t know,’” Hilton Napoleon, Kinsey’s attorney, said. Police have not said why the officer shot Kinsey. “There is no justification for shooting an unarmed person who is talking to you and telling that they don’t have a gun and that they are a mental health counselor,” Napoleon said.
