The Cool Kids Are Officially Reunited

As we explained in our list of Avant Grade MCs, The Cool Kids were trendsetters when they hit the scene in 2007, paving way for many styles your favorite rappers still rock today – both on the mic and off. Yet, as the Midwest duo continued to infiltrate the scene, Chuck Inglish and Sir Michael Rocks eventually went their separate ways, to pursue their own respective careers and hopefully grow up a bit.

Well, after years apart and numerous dope solo projects between the two, the “Black Mags” MCs are officially reuniting for the greater good. Earlier today, Inglish explained the reason for their homecoming via Twitter.

I called Mikey and realized nothing would feel better than us being the originators again.

The Cool Kids are back forreal.
