Channel Your Inner Wild Side With H&M X Kenzo Collaboration

In May, fashion retailer H&M announced their collaboration with Parisian fashion house Kenzo. On Tuesday [July 26,] the brand released a sneak-peak of a few bold and mixed-print pieces. The collection features elbow length leather gloves, lots and lots of colorful zebra print, an oversized leather jacket with pink faux shearling, and a parka with a removable printed collar.

Modeling the first looks of the lookbook are Amy Sall, activist and founder of SUNU: Journal of African Affairs, Critical Thought + Aesthetics, Juliana Huxtable, artist/DJ/poet, french make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench, and musician of French band ’19’┬áOko Ebombo.

Every year (since 2004), the creative directors of H&M team up with a high-end designer to create a line of ÔÇÿcheaper than usualÔÇÖ designer pieces.┬áIn past years, H&M has collaborated with Karl Lagerfeld, Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, Lanvin, Versace, Alexander Wang, and most recently Balmain in last yearÔÇÖs designer collaboration.

Being the first French collaboration for the popular retailer, the collection will launch worldwide at select H&M stores and online on November 3 featuring clothes and accessories for both men and women.
