Chicago rap star Kanye West might not be on the best terms with Jay Z or the Grammys, but that’s not stopping everyone else from watching his incredibly lit Saint Pablo national tour.
Last night (November 1), floods of celebrities ranging from Pharrell Williams and John Mayer to Jessica Alba and his wife Kim Kardashian attended his packed Los Angeles showcase.
Hollywood’s finest filed into The Forum Tuesday night for ‘Ye’s 4th visit to the City of Angels, with Pharrell, Hilary Duff, John Mayer and even Jessica Alba making appearances. Oh, and BTW … Kim was there, too. When the self-proclaimed rap god’s got 6 shows in L.A. … celebs gotta pace themselves. (TMZ)
Recently, Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke shared his reaction to rap star Jay Z getting singled out by Kanye at a Saint Pablo concert.
Burke told us: “The last I saw [West], he spoke really highly of Jay. I’m not sure about the relationship at this point. I spoke to Jay [after Kanye’s rant] and we’re both just like, ‘We miss the old Kanye.’ From what I know of Kanye, he’s usually really honest. So it sounds like something he’s going through right now. He may [say] something like that, and then three weeks later he may be back to, ‘That’s my brother.’ But at this point, with everybody’s career, we’re a little too old for rap beef.” (New York Post)
Recently, an inside source spoke on Jay’s alleged stance toward Yeezy.
“Jay can’t stand him,” said the source. “He looks at him as this crazy, eccentric motherf - - ker he can tolerate in small doses. Kanye is a nut job. Everyone knows that.” The source said of the tour for the duo’s blockbuster 2011 album “Watch the Throne” that Jay Z “tolerated” West because “there was so much money to be made. Jay was like, ‘I’m gonna knock this out. We’re going to do a tour to bring in millions of dollars. I can tolerate that.’” (Page Six)
Last month, Kanye publicly singled out Jigga.
