Crisis in Six Scenes, a new TV Show starring Miley Cyrus, now has an air date. It is set to stream on Amazon starting September 30.
Amazon revealed the news in a press release at its Television Critics Association’s annual press day. This will be Woody Allen‘s first TV series and will take place as a six part TV series set to air on Amazon. Most information of the series has been kept under wraps, as there was no screening of the show during the press release.
According to Contact Music, the synopsis for the show reads, “‘Crisis in Six Scenes is a comedy that takes place in the 1960s during turbulent times in the United States when a middle class suburban family is visited by a guest who turns their household completely upside down.”
Allen, 80, will star alongside 23-year-old Cyrus and 84-year-old Elaine May in the ’60s themed series. Rachel Brosnahan and John Magaro are also recurring characters, as well as┬áMichael Rapaport, Lewis Black, David Harbour, Joy Behar, and more.
