For all the hubris he creates, it’s easy to assume that one particular artist is leading the way for adidas resurgence and the sales that go with it. Everyone’s first guess might be wrong, unless Pharrell is the answer. The multi-hyphen talent has been at the forefront of the brand’s artistic push and that continues with the upcoming release of the adidas Originals = Pharrell Williams Hu NMD.
The model utilizes a white Boost midsole supporting a bright yellow Primeknit upper emblazoned with a split graphic reading “Human Race.” The Hu NMD also incorporates a new lacing system, and two sets of laces — as every special collab should. The look is finished off in the details: a graphic insole designed by Pharrell and the trefoil logo on the right heel tab and the partnershipÔÇÖs equal sign on the left heel tab.
The adidas Originals = Pharrell Williams Hu NMD will be releasing in limited quantities on July 22nd at select retailers and at Billionaire Boys Club Flagship Stores globally, followed by the adidas Originals Flagship Stores on August 25th, 2016.
