President Barack Obama and his wife, FLOTUS Michelle Obama, don’t intend to spoon-feed their teenage daughters as they grow into adults. They’ve made that quite clear in the past, as both Sasha and Malia have been studious in their academics–Malia will attend Harvard next fall after taking a gap year–and neither Malia nor Sasha are allowed to spend their summers merely attending music festivals and Snapchatting their way through the White House hallways. We’ve already seen Malia try her hand at the professional world when she interned for HBO, and now Sasha’s got herself a summer gig.
The Boston Herald reports that the Obama’s youngest daughter will be working the take-out window at popular Martha’s Vineyard seafood joint Nancy’s, a place the Obamas have likely been to a few times┬áduring their vacation trips to the quaint Massachusetts destination. The Herald reports that no less than 6 Secret Service agents escorted Natasha–she’ll be using her full name as a Nancy’s employee–to her new job, where she does everything from work the take-out window to prep the restaurant for lunch. The Boston daily also caught the following photo, of Sasha leaving her job fully uniformed, likely headed to her Secret Service convoy.
