grouptherapy.’s Jadagrace Shines on New Drop “Brand New”

Jadagrace takes center stage on grouptherapy.’s newest offering Brand New which hit the airwaves on Friday.  Over the past four months, the LA Collective has embraced a “whole is only as good as the sum of its parts” mentality.

In June, grouptherapy put the spotlight on TJOnline with solo venture Sweet.  The heatwaves of August saw SWIM take center stage on rousing drop Big Steppa.  Now, in October, the focus is on Jada, and unsurprisingly she delivered with a hot drop, rich with elements of R&B, soul and experimental hip-hop.

grouptherapy’s name indicates a major purpose of their craft: self-healing through the power of music.  The “therapy” the collective provides is not just for fans alone.  It’s for each of the three artists themselves.  Jada shared that sentiment in a quote about the new single.

“I finally feel like after being at my lowest, it’s only up from here.  No matter what life throws at me.”

Look for this newfound confidence to continue to elevate grouptherapy. and Jada individually as the collective levels up.

Brand New

Brand New fully embraces that mentality, revealing the most confident and self-assured version of Jadagrace we’ve seen to date.

Built over a dynamic beat from Oscar-nominated producer Solomon Fox, Jada’s vocals drip with the seduction and vibes of 90s R&B legends, with a modern spin.  Fox’s production is driven by staccato guitar plucks, wavy strings and bouncing 808s.  Jada attacks the production with poise and precision, her hook melody equal parts catchy and distinctive.  Jadagrace Brand New

The quality of Brand New is exemplified by brilliant post-production.  From aesthetic layering, to pitch shifts, and plenty of vocal variation, the mix and engineering give Brand New a radio-ready sound.  This master-class is met by Jada’s dynamic vocal performance and clever wordplay.  “This shit hit it so different/shining ‘cause I glow so infinite./I’m a 5 star no Michelin/drip so cold it’s sickening.”

In this ‘brand new’ era of her career, Jadagrace shows she is taking no prisoners.  Her new-found confidence is here to propel her and grouptherapy. to the pinnacle of success.  No longer held back by the constraints of other’s opinions.  After similar messages from TJOnline and SWIM in previous singles, look for grouptherapy. to come full force as a collective unit on their next drop.
