The cast for Marvel’s Black Panther has been confirmed, and it’s just as lit as the Internets anticipated. Yesterday (July 24) at San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel officially unveiled members of the cast of the film starring Chadwick Boseman and being directed by Ryan Coogler.┬á
Lupita NyongÔÇÖo will be portraying Nakia, a member of the Dora Milaje aka the bad ass bodyguards of T’Challa, who happen to be all women.┬áDanai Gurira,┬áaka┬áMichonne on The Walking Dead, will be┬áOkoye, the leader of the Dora Milaje.
Michael B. Jordan┬áwill play┬áErik Killmonger who is Black Panther’s archnemesis.
It’s lit!
Boseman shared a picture of the cast. We can’t front, we almost shed a thug tear looking at that image of Black excellence, that the world will soon see as superheroes, and a supervillain.
