Young Money‘s Nicki Minaj has chosen a phone provider. The curvy rapper-turned-actress now appears in a new T-Mobile commercial.
On Friday (September 9), Nicki’s unexpected 30-second ad, which takes shots at phone giant Verizon, hit the Internet.
Nicki’s kept busy this week with the release of her hard-hitting “The Pinkprint” freestyle.
Throughout the freestyle, the “Truffle Butter” rapper gives shoutouts to fellow MCs including Lil Wayne, Foxy Brown and her boyfriend, Meek Mill. “Testify for my n—a to the D.A.’s face,” Minaj raps, in reference to her appearance at Mill’s December 2015 probation hearing. (Us Weekly)
Minaj made sure to acknowledge all of the media attention her new freestyle generated on social media.
