Frank Ocean hit his fans with the massive pump fake last week. The Odd Future crooner’s new album, Boys Don’t Cry, was supposed to drop last FridayÔÇöbut a full week later and it’s still AWOL.┬á

Some Twitter stats confirm that thanks to Ocean hitting y’all with the jig, the sadness was real.

Per Twitter, the “Novacane” singer got a gang of attention with 1.8M tweets mentioning his name between Sunday, July 31┬áand┬áSunday, August 7. 800,000 of those mentions came on the faux-release day of the now mythical┬áalbum.
