Chris Brown allegedly threatened a woman with a gun inside his Tarzana home early this morning [August 30], according to the New York Daily News.
“It’s an assault with a deadly weapon (investigation),” a source in the LAPD’s West Valley division said. “Our detectives are right now writing a search warrant and possibly an arrest warrant.”
TMZ reports that Chris was in his home with friends, including Ray J, when “uninvited guests” arrived. The guests were supposedly asked to leave, and one of the women who had reportedly been asked to leave called 911 claiming Chris pulled a gun on her. TMZ says a person inside Chris’s home “insists” he was sleeping the entire time everything went down.
Ray J didn’t get out of the driveway when police reportedly handcuffed him and confiscated his BMW. However, the site reports that police checked his ID, removed the handcuffs and let him go. Ray J is reported to have left in an Uber, as police kept his car.
The LAPD is now seeking a search warrant for the singer’s home.
